Sponsor Partner Information
Team and corporate sponsorships are available to help support our organization. These sponsorship dollars allow Lakota Sports to continue to offer affordable sport programs to the community in a safe environment. 100% of the income generated from team sponsorships goes directly back into the sport specific budgets in an effort to keep the participation cost down. The money raised from corporate sponsorships is used for long-term needs such as field maintenance and development.
Lakota Sports Organization, formerly known as Liberty Sports Organization founded in 1978, is a 501-c3 non-profit youth organization providing athletic opportunities to over 6,000 children each year in over 9 sports.
LSO owns, developed, and maintains Walter J Long Park on Kyles Station Road, Yankee, along with the diamonds in front of Liberty Junior School. The Indoor Training Center on Dixie Hwy is also maintained by LSO. We have outstanding partnerships with Lakota Local Schools, Liberty Township, Spooky Nook, Royal Redeemer, and Anthem House Church to utilize their land and facilities for practices and games. However, it may not be known that LSO does not receive any financial support for field development and maintenance from government agencies or school systems.
It's through our donors and relationships that we can make it happen. LSO has over 360 different teams in any given year using both indoor and outdoor facilities.
We take pride in our strong programs and maintain all the facilities we use. It takes a great deal of funds and resources to do so. As well as serving our own locations, LSO supports local parks and many Lakota Schools by mowing, treating, lining, turf management and infield prep and repairing them as needed.
